This Is My GlasgowGlasgow Central Station and Hotel. Built on the site of the lost village of Grahamston and originally called Gordon Street Station, Central replaced Bridge Street as the main station for trains coming into the city from the south.
It was constructed in the 1870s, with the hotel added in 1883, from a design by R.R. Anderson. It was then extended in the early 1900s by James Miller and Donald Mathieson.
