Misuse Case@chiraag @lovelylovely The people trying to push Biden out want to push out Kamala too. That was pretty evident to me a week ago and AOC has confirmed it.
I really don’t think it’s because of Biden’s age or polling or anything. He got the IRS going after wealthy tax cheats, the NLRB coming down on union-busting, and the FEC enforcing antitrust law. That’s the real problem the media moguls and rich donors have.

@chiraag @lovelylovely If they were really concerned about his age there would be no talk about a “blitz primary” or contested convention or whatever. They’d just say he should pass the reins to Kamala Harris. But they are not saying that.

@MisuseCase @lovelylovely I'm sure you're right about that. And if this were still the Biden of 2020, it wouldn't be hard to get behind him (yes, genocide, but also Trump will cause more genocide and there's potentially a glimmer of hope with Biden). But we need a candidate who is able to cogently prosecute the case against Trump, and Biden is no longer that person. He was, in 2020, but I don't think he is now.

Christian Kent@lovelylovely @corbden I still feel gaslit about what I saw at the debate then. And the fact that Biden refused to debate in the primaries and asked Dems to accept his performance on faith — like a weightlifter or high jumper skipping the lower rounds.
@lovelylovely @corbden Yeah if you can’t respect the fact there’s a valid problem to talk about, it’s impossible to discuss anything. I’m worried such intransigence would keep going even if his condition got worse. It crossed the line already.
None of that changes the electability of “anyone but Trump”, so I hold faith.
