At least 63 billionaires have now publicly endorsed Trump, hosted a fundraiser for him, or contributed to Trump aligned PACs.

Why are they rallying behind him? Tax cuts, mostly. But there's more.

1 of 2 — Actually this has been debunked multiple times. As far as the original comment about Bernie Bros, it was a factor, but definitely not THE factor. Russia was a huge factor, as well as Jill Stein (also Russia,) the electoral college not doing their job, extreme right wing gerrymandering and voter suppression.

And if it were someone other than her running against Trump, they probably would have won. This idea that progressives can't win is absolute bullshit. Nothing to do with ego. It's a precarious trade-off of momentum. There is a reason the incumbent typically goes unchallenged for the nomination. Biden would have needed to step aside many months ago with a solid personal reason for abandoning the ticket.

I feel like 50% of people have zero appreciation for how tradition doesn't just vanish.

NONE of what I wrote came from establishment pundits. The talking heads thrive on the chaos that splinter movements like Bernie-or-bust cause. It’s their livelihood to cover it like “pro wrestling”.
