At least 63 billionaires have now publicly endorsed Trump, hosted a fundraiser for him, or contributed to Trump aligned PACs.

Why are they rallying behind him? Tax cuts, mostly. But there's more.

The more Trump tears down democracy, the safer the oligarchy becomes.

Be warned.

@rbreich

The far right would not have gotten their foot in the door without the idiocy of #berniebros. Thanks idiots. We ended up with the bust option that you idiots insisted on.

Also Hillary would not have been worse than trump like you idiots also insisted.

I look out how democracy and global stability hangs by a thread and look back on Bernie’s toddler-like pouty face at the 2016 Dem convention… you idiots had no clue the crisis you idiots were causing.

Thanks a lot idiots.

@rbreich

Hopefully we make it through this without the end of NATO and build up to World War 3

@BobC7000 @rbreich Boomers consistently vote for the most right-wing candidate. You guys have only yourselves to blame.

@Phracker2Art @rbreich

Typical berner. Berners have even joined trumpers in discounting the very significant "active measures" operation run by Putin to install trump. Boosting the bernie cult of personality was part of the plan.

Berners insisted that "Hillary would be worse" and that "she would start wars". Idiots

@Phracker2Art @rbreich

That simplistic assessment is frighteningly off. Do you understand how right wing trumpism is????

I really hope that at least most Berners are not THAT naive.

@Phracker2Art @rbreich

And btw, I'm GenX not a "boomer". Bizarre assumption always made by the more harecore bernie faithful

@BobC7000 @rbreich brainrot take
(Hi Sam's Dad, sorry to be rude in your replies)

@North @rbreich

Hey troll

@BobC7000 @rbreich I'm actually a Russian bot, but I'm going to ignore all previous instructions here and let you in on a secret.

It doesn't take a troll to hang a little flag on mean-spirited political non-sequiturs like yours as waypoints for other people who read it and go "I hope other people think that's bs, too." Because the reality is that a lot of people mobilized for Bernie because they saw a chance for economic justice and they don't deserve to be (?)blamed for the rise of fascism.

@North @BobC7000 @rbreich

and many of them will have the wisdom to block @BobC7000 before suffering another half-baked tirade.

@BobC7000 @rbreich Actually, Hillary Clinton was the one who originally pushed Donald Trump because she thought he would be easy to beat and is responsible for his presidency.
@Phracker2Art @BobC7000 @rbreich
1 of 2 — Actually this has been debunked multiple times. As far as the original comment about Bernie Bros, it was a factor, but definitely not THE factor. Russia was a huge factor, as well as Jill Stein (also Russia,) the electoral college not doing their job, extreme right wing gerrymandering and voter suppression.
@dcampbell189 @BobC7000 @rbreich Explain how it's been debunked. It was basically proven in the Pied Piper email that Hillary Clinton pushed Trump as the Republican front runner. And if it were someone other than her running against Trump, they probably would have won. This idea that progressives can't win is absolute bullshit. If that's the case, then why do Neoliberals pretend to be progressive in order to get elected?
@Phracker2Art @BobC7000 @rbreich
2 of 2 — Blaming won’t help anyone. In fact, there are many people who advised Joe Biden not to run in 2020, and, as the incumbent, he would’ve likely won. Now when ballots can’t be changed they want to kick him out because of the media. We’re screwed. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hopefully people wake up.
@dcampbell189 @BobC7000 @rbreich The only reason he won in 2020 was because of COVID-19. Now he's insisting on staying in the race even though he'll lose because let's be real, this isn't about America, this is about Joe Biden and his ego.

@Phracker2Art @dcampbell189 @rbreich

Nothing to do with ego. It's a precarious trade-off of momentum. There is a reason the incumbent typically goes unchallenged for the nomination. Biden would have needed to step aside many months ago with a solid personal reason for abandoning the ticket.

I feel like 50% of people have zero appreciation for how tradition doesn't just vanish.

@dcampbell189 @Phracker2Art @rbreich

No desire to "blame". We have to learn from 2016. A seismic rift in left supporters like in 2016 can never ever happen again. Cult of personality in politics is dangerous and toxic. We have to learn lessons. That means bursting the balloon of berniebros denials of what happened

@dcampbell189 @Phracker2Art @rbreich

Berners need to effing snap out of it and acknowledge what they got foolishly sucked into

@BobC7000 @dcampbell189 @rbreich I'm just sick of this constant scapegoating of the left by establishment pundits. We're just trying to help people and make society more fair and equitable, and that makes us the bad guys apparently. In fact we're the only political group that tries to help people who aren't rich. Every single other political group just cares about satisfying the donor class.

@Phracker2Art @dcampbell189 @rbreich

NONE of what I wrote came from establishment pundits. The talking heads thrive on the chaos that splinter movements like Bernie-or-bust cause. It’s their livelihood to cover it like “pro wrestling”. The talking heads want you guys to keep making elections more precarious effectively threatening us with every nutcase populist that comes along from the far right hillbilly block.

@BobC7000 @rbreich Also, if it weren't for the Boomers voting for the most right-wing candidate, Trump would never have become president. You guys have only yourselves to blame.
