Ilgaz@nixCraft I managed 2 (yes, TWO) PCs with Windows 10 at a small restaurant. The updates were disabled and I did security updates only on Mondays on holiday manually after running a UrBackup live image snapshot.
Actually, my original plan was to image the working machine, run the restaurant managing software and see what happens after updates but the software provider didn't allow a secondary license for testing.
I heard Azure servers got down, this is unbelievable.

@perry @nixCraft , I understand that should all be true. However, if I don't solve this bug as soon as possible, I'll be nonstop thinking about it. I would usually never do this for other bugs, but this one is such a mystery to me, my mind has become obsessed with it. I spent all afternoon sitting with my laptop just stepping through the code and not seeing a single reason why it's happening. 🥲 I woke up consumed by it.
@soundconjurer @nixCraft maybe that's exactly a reason to take a step back? Like, go on walk, meet with friends, read something, whatever you like. Maybe it'll come to you, maybe it won't. But your mind works a lot better if you're fresh and recovered.

Pseudo NymNever push on Friday. Don't push on Thursday either, because of time zones it's somebody else's Friday.
Monday is right out, you can't blow the whole company's week. Tuesday either, see timezones, it's somebody else's Monday.
Because of all that, everyone has to get all their work done on Wednesday, so you totally can't push then.
If only folks had a pilot group of test or QA systems that could update a week before the main fleet. Hmmm...
