@Artemis201 Played the Quick Draw precon the other day, and managed to copy the spell that lets you draw X cards and get rid of your maximum hand size such that I drew 30 cards and still had 5 open mana. Three turns later, when a suspend counter went off, was able to turn that into 20 4/4 fliers with prowess and win.

It's about the best I've ever seen a non-upgraded precon pop off.

@Artemis201 On the whole, it wins about as much as Standard-branded precons, if slightly less. When it does win, though, it tends to be a blowout. (And yes, it does have storm mechanics, firmly under OTC setcode to keep them safely away from OTJ.)

@Artemis201 Been trying out lands decks and a highlight recently was sacrificing a Marit Lage to Greater Good to draw 20 cards, and then making another Marit Lage in the same turn.

@Artemis201 I play an Ancient One self-mill deck. Last night I won off an empty library when I used Volrath’s Stronghold in my upkeep to put a creature on top of my library. I drew the card and swung for lethal against my one remaining opponent.

@Artemis201 It's probably K&T "Draw Cards and Play Lands", where every card puts a card into your hand or a land into play. (Also some cascade cards and Past in Flames, but I let those count because they let me play my other cards that do those things.) I built it because I wanted to play Beck/Locust god, but it's so much more than that! It plays only basics, a couple of utility lands, and the mono color artifact lands. I have a foil Clarion Ultimatum I play in it!

@Artemis201 It also plays lab maniac, I guess. I need to replace it with the lab man Jace! But casting The Great Aurora into Molten Psyche is fantastic, 100% of the time.

I quite like my Merieke Ri Berit deck. It's just a pile of copy/steal your stuff effects + some interaction so nobody gets out of hand, so it mostly scales to the power level of the table. Getting put put an untapping effect on her goes kinda crazy though.
