I really need to set up a pi hole
I need to make an eggless birthday cake for tiny person's party as one of the kids has an egg allergy, and I'm not an arsehole, so we're making one cake that's inclusive.
Today I'm experimenting with the Bobs Red Mill egg replacer, but it made the cake batter ridiculously thick (yes, I followed instructions). So thick it didn't have a hope of rising. So, I added about 1/2 a cup of milk until it could be spread in the pan without effort (it was thick...). Put it in the oven, but I'm not that hopeful right now... I think I'm going to end up with bricks.
Would appreciate some links to some tried and tested egg-free cakes. I've got a week to crack this.
Overlooting 9 hour review: a neat little TFT Runlike. Still has all my problems with the genre (double sets of gambling T_T) but is nice when I'm looking for something to turn my brain off. Runs are maybe just a haaaair too long, but I don't think you could make them shorter without changing item distribution. Doesn't understand what makes traits so interesting in TFT, and could maybe do with more of them, and having more than one on each item.
Glad I got it in the bundle, maybe/10.
Looking for advice, resources, or opportunities to send a friend. He’s a software developer having a rough go looking for a new job,especially since he’s trying to avoid anywhere going all-in on AI slop.
After his most recent interview included an “AI prompting test” instead of a coding test, he’s at his wit’s end and considering throwing in the towel on development, but I know there must still be opportunities out there.
Appreciate help, boosts, etc.
