A colleague today asked me what the flag was that I'd rigged up next to my usual desk in the office - he was like "duh, of course" when I said it was the disability pride flag - knowing that I'm an accessibility wonk :)

So it's doing its job as a little reminder now!

@RDK I think it's not always been called that, or it depends on the country you're in. I've heard Disability Awareness said too, meaning the same month.

Either way I liked the idea of flying the flag.

@reesericci it's nice eh? The original design was bolder and with zig zags, but was redesigned to be more inclusive for the people whose migraines or other responses get triggered by imagery like that.

@reesericci I'm afraid not, without doing the searches you would probably do. I bought from a web shop in Germany and I think (though I don't have it to hand now) the flag was made in Poland.
