@RickiTarr I love that argument when I tell them I can already speak Enochian....
They go blank, until I note that they are obviously not saved if they do not know the language of angels....
@MishaVanMollusq @RickiTarr well mickey and raph speak it, so good enough for me.
The 4 horsemen however speak it with geordie accents, and the dukes of hell have scouse accents.
...this cycle is controled by the alter call,🎶 ' just as I am without one plea...' and the deal is sealed with,🎶 'I surrender all.'😉
Having visited many other churches over the years, it’s also fascinating to see shared phrases used when speaking in tongues that are regional. Church A has a lot of “Shundai!” In theirs, while Church B uses a lot more “Yah-do!”
I remember traveling to Canada for the Toronto Blessing in the mid 90’s and feeling devastated that all of these people were being slain in the spirit, roaring like lions, and all of the other things and I couldn’t feel anything.
@RickiTarr
I wish i could SHARE the feeling of JOY and RELIEF you get when you realize that it's ok to fake it because everybody else is faking it too
Just throw up your hands and blaanubibilliflibuptillidheenono-abooboo
@RickiTarr my observation: "you're not enough" versus "you're made in god's perfect image"
In my catholic upbringing we were told we had to constantly strive to that perfection & the ultimate was to give up all worldy goods & serve god through charitable works. (e.g.: Don't marry, don't have a family, don't hold a job for pay...) So when I see a catholic who is chasing the almighty dollar I think "Wow do they have a ways to go..."
But it's so hypocritical because they want large families.
