Biden’s lead over trump is increasing. This is trump’s (and putin’s) problem. They can’t beat Biden. Their only hope is to keep up this charade of ‘Biden old!’ - even though trump is as old and less coherent and can’t stay awake at his own convention - in order to get Dems to take care of the problem for them.
