After almost to two weeks of travelling in Central and Northern Europe with some quite long day in the #EV car wit the kids my realisations are
- there is lots of #EV chargers in DE, FR, NL and B as week in D and SE,
- charging is way more expansive everywhere else compared to #HPC #charging prices in FI,
- most of the places are located next to gas stations (unhealthy snacks only), burger joints (remember #supersizeMe?), but some are in the parking lot of regular grocery stores (yay!!)

Iit takes a lot of preparation to figure out where to charge to avoid 1€/kWh prices - which would make #EV energy costs higher (!!) compared to #fossil cars.

In DE I subscribed to #Mobile+ to get good network and fairly low prices. 0,39 €/kWh + the subscription fee, effectively increasing the price maybe 10%.

In FR I used #allego network with #smoov app. Chargers weee mostly located next to #Carrefour grocery stores. Higher price but cheaper than other operatorsI could find.

In SE and also in DK used #circleK even if the prices were quite high - especially in DK.

The biggest surprise in prices I found in B and NL. Tesla supercharger was clearly the cheapest and therefore I used it - even if reluctantly. I suppose their chargers were the oldest and with the lowest kW power. Lucky for us we had a flexible schedule at that saved us quite a bit of money.

Overall I think I spent a couple of days with research 🧐 and it paid off. While doing that I think I downloaded some 20 charge apps.

As a side note: having owned 2 Teslas I would not have taken the trip with either of them. During the last 3+ years with them I learned not to trust them at all and paid waay more fixing them than probably all the previous cars I’ve owned combined. #crappy build #quality 🤬

#audi Q4 was really comfortable to travel w/ the family.
