What's the goriest movie you two watched? - sh.itjust.works

Cannibal Holocaust and Rikki Oh. I’ve seen those, beat that. Of course I’m talking about fictional material, PLEASE, do not talk about real stuff or forbidden movies.

I’m guessing you meant “What’s the goriest two movies you’ve watched?”.

Haven’t seen many gory films or films in general but definitely Terrifier 2.

Braindead aka Dead Alive is a classic for gore. It also skews to the comedy side so it’s more enjoyable on rewatches.

More recently, The Sadness was pretty nasty but definitely more mean spirited. In that same vein, Headless is pretty nasty as well.

Gore is an interesting thing as it can be a single scene or an overall aesthetic i.e. the Evil Dead from 2013 has an insane amount of blood and violence but it’s not outright gore like Rikki Oh and definitely a more pure horror film.

That is a movie I haven’t watched in a long time. Braindead is really good, as are Bad Taste and Meet the Feebles.

I still remember the lawn mower scene.

I watched that on VHS in the 90s. Such a fantastic movie.
That movie made me cackle. Especially the priest. “I kick ass for the LORD!”
“Sin City”. At least for me it was a new level.
The end of Once upon a time in Hollywood took me by a surprise,
The hills have eyes
I guess the Saw movies. But I’m not big on horror, so I’m not sure how they compare.
It’s a tie between the live action Ichi The Killer or the live action Uzumaki
There’s a lot of Gore in An Inconvenient Truth
One could argue that it’s All Gore.
Idk, graphic or not, people say it’s allegory
Rumor has it that they used an early version of ChatGPT to generate the blood and guts, which makes it the first movie to feature Al Gore!
Tokyo Gore Police is pretty fun.
For some reason, Train to Busan is what springs to my mind.
I remember it more for the intensity and violence, than for the gore. Either way it’s an outstanding movie.

The Cube

That first scene tells you exactly what you are in for in that movie. The sequels were less good in every way, including the gore.

It’s hard to pick between Cube and Hellraiser for me.

The Guinea Pig series (both the original JPN and the less stellar American version) are both packed full of gore.

The original version of Martyrs is also pretty gory

August Underground as well, although i’ve only seen the first one and none of the others

I’m sure i could come up with more suggestions

Audition felt very visceral.
The Hills Have Eyes. Like why the fuck do people enjoy that sort of stuff?

Me and my friends rented this movie way way back in the day called make them die slowly.

That one was so bad that we couldn't stand any of the plot or any of the story and we just fast forwarded through it to the gore so that we could laugh at the gore and it was pretty fucked up.

paw patrol movie that interrogation scene was uncalled for
The Sudbury Devil has to be up there
Less overt gore than some splatter fests mentioned already, but Martyrs was an incredibly intense, uncomfortable gorey watch.
I probably shouldn’t tell you about the animals in Cannibal Holocaust then…
Oh I know those are real but still consider them not rea footage. Animals being injured or killed in old film was a thing. Plus the animals were later eaten by the tribe nearby so it wasn’t a waste.
The Human Centipede. That’s the only movie I’ve watched that made me feel sick.
