love the 5-string electric guitar and not going to lie, the new Strandberg&Collier collaboration 5-string looks great. Except maybe these pick-ups. Not a big fan of humbuckers. Although it's a switchable humbucker so it's probably fine. I would probably restring and retune it to 5ths.

Boden JC Djesse Limited Edition - .strandberg* Guitars Europe

The Boden JC 5 and 6 Djesse Limited Edition models were created out of a close collaboration between internationally acclaimed English artist Jacob Collier and .strandberg* Guitars and the result is two innovative musical instruments that continue the groundbreaking visions of both the artist and the builder. Boden JC 5 Djesse Limited Edition is the first 5-string guitar from .strandberg* and allows the musician to explore new chordal voicings and fingering patterns through its DAEAD tuning and the Boden JC 6 Djesse Limited Edition is its 6-string sibling. Both models feature a neck-thru construction, custom multi-colored .strandberg* EGS Rev7 hardware, custom inlays, an eye-catching all-yellow finish, and blue color Lace Alumitone pickups. This signature guitar is built in small volume batches and will be released in drops. This #Strandberg & #Collier #5 #string #guitar uses a wider neck. In fact it uses the same neck as the 6 string just with fever strings, as confirmed in an interview. It's not how 5 strings guitars are usually made but in my book this is a good thing as it allows more space between the strings and by this more precise articulation for people with large fingers (like myself).
