There is no company I will be happier to see leave San Francisco than this one.

@evacide The beauty of this move is that they could end up without power for days or weeks every year, perhaps drastically reducing the harm they can do.
@wcbdata @evacide Won't it go similar to how it goes in other third world countries?: the rolling blackouts will be mostly in the poorer neighborhoods.
@evacide they'll just take over Alex Jones' studio, provided he ever moves out.
@evacide just wait until they learn how much food costs in Texas...
@skotchygut @evacide - if one shops at the HEB food costs here in Central TX are still well below averages for the Bay area and SoCal. It's usually the guaranteed boil we have for 4 months of the year that wears the most on new residents moving here from the West Coast. But I for one welcome any moving here, hopefully demographics will change enough to enable us to vote out asshats like Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick and Ted Cruz in 4 years, but I'm not holding my breath on that.
@evacide I really do not like the guy, massive ick recently.
@evacide Any companies you'd like to see come to SF?
@evacide And all of San Francisco says to Musk, "Don't let the doorknob hit ya where the good lord split ya." GTFO 😂
@evacide this guy is so disgusting. Moving to Texas really fits him and his rightwing libertarian „look who’s rich“ shit.
@evacide hey the offices are already partially converted to livable space, it might help with the housing problem
@evacide Well, fuck. There goes our skyline. Now we'll have a big gaudy flashing X glaring at the interstate.
@evacide San Franciscans should offer to help them pack to speed things along
@evacide Leave our state Musk; we'll gladly not miss your bigotry!

@evacide

Poor Austin, can't he send them to Houston?

@evacide it appears to be motivated by his transphobic bigotry (on brand for him).

Anyway, if I were from SF, my response would be “don’t let the door hit you on your way out”.

@evacide and any crypto startups funded by a16z.
@evacide
Isn't it interesting that so many companies come to California to get started, then the execs move to Texas once it gets established.

@CassandraVert @evacide OFC they do: First leech on talent then go to the most reactionary place so they don't have to return the favour with taxes and also so they don't have to pay severance to all the diverse folks that made them successful in the first place...

  • Basically the corporate equivalent of mobbing people out!
