@flipsideza I used https://notable.app/ for a few years before switching to Obsidian. Fairly lightweight, the .md files are stored as exactly that, can sync via whatever cloud drive you prefer. I only switched because I wanted something a bit more stable and less of a moving target with major design changes by a single dev. It works well enough though.
