Literally nothing has changed.

Except that fascists think they have it in the bag now.

They can’t stop themselves from gloating less than 24 hours later.

But nothing has fucking changed. Are we really gonna just lie down for this because a guy who says his enemies should be shot every single day got a minor wound from one of his own supporters?

@Catvalente I heard him say let me get my shoes before the guards got him off that stage. So I think the entire thing was faked. I'll be the Winston Smith here, but I'll stand by my convictions.

@EJGilbert @Catvalente He’s not a good actor. He was shocked. Plus people died. He’s also a coward who would not go with a plan that required being grazed with real bullets. I wondered if he was speaking in stocking feet and needed the shoes to walk.

The telling question is, Why did a 20-year-old Republican sacrifice himself?

@skry @EJGilbert @Catvalente They said the shooter's only recorded contribution was $15 to a liberal org. My guess is he had psychological problems and was motivated by suicide by cop or a desire to get into the history books.

@cgervasi The contribution was before he registered Republican FWIW. I hope the motive will be discovered soon.
