True story...

So, a local #library (in a rural area) I used to work for decided to just eliminate their #DVDs a few years back. "Oh, all the patrons have #streaming now," the director said. "Um, then why do a lot of our patrons use our computers and regularly take out DVDs?" I replied, after taking a look at the library statistics. I ended up "adopting" a lot of the DVDs, and now that there's a new director, I'm thinking I might donate my collection (which is quite extensive, since I've added to it) back to them, and start volunteering there again.

@DoomsdaysCW Librairy economy seems to be taking off in different parts of the world even in rural communities too! Which is basically people helping people. I think that’s pretty awesome !
@EVDHmn A nearby library lends out TOOLS! That's pretty awesome!
@DoomsdaysCW yeah the one near here lends out musical instruments too I think this can happen in many places and communities I just talked to my local council person about having different uses for empty churches and Burroughs buildings during the week.
