I only use my desktop for gaming, it’s on windows 10. I am now determined to switch to Linux…..can anyone recommend best version for gaming on a Ryzen 5 build? Will be building a new rig at some point when I can afford it but for now this will have to do 😭

@JaxVent @davidgerard I'd research the negatives, but Ubuntu is pretty accessible and using Steam with proton is hassle free 90% of the time.

@JaxVent @davidgerard btw, you can search for what games you'll want to play on https://www.protondb.com/ You can scroll down to the comments and see what builds people have and what they say about performance. There's a lot of Ryzens. I'm also running on a Ryzen 5.
