When Democrats like George Clooney are calling for President Biden to drop out of the presidential race while masses of ordinary people are cheering Joe on, the obvious cause is Biden’s plan to make wealthy Americans pay their fair share. Sometimes it really is that simple.

@Strandjunker @eilonwy Do you honestly believe that George Clooney is solely focused on lowering his taxes? The guy has raised hundreds of millions for multiple Dem candidates over the past decades, including Biden himself.

Do you guys just not realize how insane you sound? I thought Dems were supposed to be the rational party, not MAGA Lite.

Seeing so much of this honestly has me wanting to leave the party. I’m anti-Trump, not pro-conspiracy.

@alvaro @Strandjunker @eilonwy Maybe, maybe not. He thinks he’s doing what’s right, just like you do. You just disagree.

But how does that translate into claiming George Clooney is an oligarch trying to tank a presidential campaign so he can save on taxes? When did Dems decide that anyone who disagrees is the worst possible version of themselves? I always thought Dems were better than that. Really disappointing to see.

@dogzilla @Strandjunker @eilonwy last time, I hope you understand it now: The primaries is the time to discuss and select the candidate. Biden won the primaries with 14 million votes. Tat is the democratic process. Whining after the fact is not.

@alvaro @Strandjunker @eilonwy One last time from me: that is a bad faith argument and I think you know it.

Those were not actual primaries: people don’t run against incumbent Presidents. Coupled with the fact that Biden or his campaign was actively hiding his mental/physical state, potential candidates have every reason to feel cheated. As a voter, I feel cheated for not getting the chance to fairly evaluate Biden and decide who should represent me.
