urgent call-in campaign! Enbridge, #LincolnMA Conservation Director, & #CambridgeMA water dept scheduled a "site visit" of the Lincoln forest. The site visit is the last step before construction. The site visit has been scheduled, but the date of it is not disclosed.

PLEASE call/email - demand the site visit be public, & that it be delayed so that there can be public participation:

Lincoln Conservation Dept:
781-259-2703, [email protected]
Cambridge Water Dept: 617-349-4770

@Nathanpboston

Which constituencies should be calling?

@dynamic Anyone and everyone! Most impacted are #CambridgeMA & #LincolnMA residents, but this being a state issue (clearcut on #MA fish & wildlife designated “Priority Habitat of Rare Species”), all have an interest and should call/email.

Thanks. I know you've been posting about this for a while now, but could you add to this thread a bulleted list of talking points (including context on the planned cutting and development) or else a link to posts in which you provide such talking points?

I don't want to accidentally misrepresent the situation or focus on the wrong things.

@athorn @dynamic that’s a narrowly focused one for MA officials and doesn’t include the larger Enbridge #projectmaple fiasco - I will get something together for that. My livestream describes the linkage to maple.

@Nathanpboston @dynamic

Can you clarify whether the affected land is in Cambridge or Lincoln? My impression from the documentation was Cambridge, but the sample script makes it sound like Lincoln.

@athorn @dynamic owned by Cambridge for its drinking water supply, located in Lincoln.

Complicated O_O

@athorn @dynamic fascinatingly so!
@athorn @dynamic I realize I’m being a firehose of scattered info and am grateful for your forbearance
