@Geoffberner Sigh. The NYT is conducting an all out crusade. The chattering class is running with the ball. If you look at the poll, it says that the Black Dem VOTERS are still behind Biden. And I think the White Dem VOTERS are too. Just not the white male pundits. The voters selected delegates to represent THEM, not Ezra Klein, George Clooney, or Sulzberger. Note that I am NOT saying anything about Biden in this case. I AM saying the DNC would be very wrong to do the smoke-filled room king-making deal. We got to the primary-based system because we were sick of that. The chattering class wants to run the DNC.
Biden IS a plutocrat. He can't win without the support of his branch of the oligarchy. And they are telling him to stop. That's America.
