Just biked home in 39°C, 8 km. Made it, but that was gross and now I feel a little sick (and kinda dumb). May bite the bullet and take the bus tomorrow.

@coffeentacos Thanks. Went slow, took breaks, extra water. I'm sure it helped but obvious better choice would have been to find a ride. Rookie mistake for a veteran rider. :/
