tobie@GottaLaff @jenzi @Fenix Will the articles get a hearing on the floor? That's my only question. I'm assuming Republicans control what hearings are held in the House but I could be wrong about this. Making a stink on TV about the GOP not allowing hearings would be another option, I guess.

No. That's not how it works when the minority party files articles of impeachment. Instead the articles sit on a shelf, gathering dust until the term of congress expires. Do you remember the 2017 articles of impeachment of mangolini? No? That's because they went nowhere. Not even a blip in the media, except a local district note of the critter who filed them.
Filing articles of impeachment when you're in the minority party accomplishes nothing. It's a political stunt catering to the hyperaware party faithful. It's also a stunt if you're in the majority, unless the Speaker is on board.
