Boeing has agreed to plead guilty to conspiring to defraud the federal government over two deadly crashes involving its 737 Max plane.
In the deal with the department, Boeing also agreed to pay a $487.2 million fine and invest at least $455 million over the next three years to strengthen its compliance and safety programs. COMMENT: So now #Boeing is a convicted felon, but still the CEO has not resigned with immediate effect or been removed by the feckless board of directors. Sure, he’s leaving at the end of the year - but he should not be granted a single day, let alone the golden separation package promised him. Why is no one in jail?
