8am team call on Monday morning, and what do they want to know?

Management wants to know what progress you've made on the tasks they just assigned to you.

And an explanation as to why you have not made any progress.

And why you're not progressing now. "What are your blockers?" and "How can we clear them?", really "What can we do to you to make you have made progress on these?"

(And "This meeting is preventing me from making progress." is never taken well. 🙄)
