I need some #HamRadio help with the #DXCluster feature in #CQRLog

The documentation I've seen about filtering is written by and for people who really love man pages for advanced networking stuff.

I need something SIMPLE. Like check boxes in a GUI.

How do I tell it "Only show spots if they were HEARD by a station IN MY COUNTRY?!

The fact that some station in France can hear some other station in Europe is beyond not useful.

This is what I'm trying to do.

Clearly it does not work.

@kelvin0mql Unfamiliar with that software. (Things like N1MM have filtering in the app to exclude non-NA)

If you can change what RBN it's using, point it to rbn.telegraphy.de

Then go to the web site: https://rbn.telegraphy.de/
Enter in your call sign, tick the self-spot, Untick all of the skimmers except NA

Anything you filter here should be filtered in spots you'll see

CW Club RBN Spotter

@wt8p
Yeah, I liked that about N1MM+ when I had Windows.

This is a plain telnet cluster, so all filtering is done at the server end.

The server I’m using also has a web UI, which works well in this regard, but I wanted to exploit the alerts, which are local, but being alerted that GB13COL was heard in France is not useful.

@kelvin0mql Understood.

Can you use hamalert.org?

(Screenshot below specifies spotter in North America)

@wt8p I never have, but that might be a good compromise.

Here's my 1st crack at HamAlert.
