This account is primarily for #kink but I'm working on a "Trad Sissy" recipe for Key Lime Pie. One of the ingredients (for the whipped cream) is homemade Banana Extract. It takes a week to make but is almost ready.

The whipped cream came out fantastic. I will double the amount of Banana Extract used next time, that was my mistake---I doubled the recipe for two pies but neglected to double the amount of banana extract. But it still came out fantastic. In the future, I'll learn how to use a cake decorating kit to make the whipped cream prettier but first the other issues have to be resolved...

For the key lime filling itself, I think I need to multiply all the ingredients by 1.5 because there was less filling produced than I would have liked to put in the pies.

I think three cans of 14oz condensed milk (main filling ingredient) for two pies would be better. But the filling tasted fantastic!

The crust, the crust was a problem. First of all, no one local carries graham cracker crumbs anymore so I had to buy graham crackers and make the crumbs, but they are WAY THE FUCK too sweat with too much honey. So I need to find a supply of graham cracker crumbs made for baking or make my own graham crackers because the crust shouldn't have crumbs with that much honey it them.

Secondly, the crust was too thick and it was over-baked. So I need to improve my technique of putting the crust into the pan, and adjust baking time to not overbake it.

Once I have perfected making the crust, then I can start playing with more artistic application of the whipped cream in my attempt to make a perfect Key Lime Pie.
