For the record, I'm super on board with the stuff about the benefits being exposed to new ideas, but I'm sure glad I didn't have a platform to broadcast my dumb thoughts to the world. I wouldn't have taken the corrections well; the failures would have been quick and lasting.
Anyway, love the show. Keep up the good work, etc.
He sure does. I super like the points he made (and I admire his POV), but we have very different levels of tolerance for bad faith actors. But, I do get it.

I use @IceCubesApp as my client, and it makes it pretty explicit if a toot is part of a thread (see screenshot). Other than Ivory, it’s the most polished, full-featured Mastodon client on iOS and MacOS. Plus, lots of cool app icon options.
I’m always surprised that it never comes up when you guys list clients that you’ve tried.
@chrishuck I think I mention it when I list a bunch of the client apps I have installed.
@siracusa I must have missed it even though I was listening for it. It’s a really solid app, and I subscribe to their monthly donation because they keep making it better. It even has quote toots!
