@DemocracyMattersALot can’t two things be true at once? Trump is a liar, con man, threat to democracy, AND Biden is too old and doesn’t appear to be able to manage 4 more years.
Trump can’t win, and isn’t there someone else who is a better choice for 4 more years than Biden.
@WhenImTryingToHide @DemocracyMattersALot
fuck off
@clane22 @DemocracyMattersALot anybody but Trump. That’s the only requirement.
The question is who will motivate those people that are either thinking of sitting it out, or unsure who to vote for, to vote for whoever is at the top of the ticket.
@palin
Ahh this democracy where everyone who haven't the same public opinion as me must be banished , and you musn't see them nor they can answer me.
Such beautiful manichaeism without the need to have any arguments.
If you are so much in the right, why do you even speak in public?
You _are_ _right_ after all...
@clane22
@WhenImTryingToHide @DemocracyMattersALot Kamala Harris is standing right there to do the job of POTUS the moment Joe Biden should be unable to do so.

Still true: Biden's age, isn't about Biden's age. Biden's age, is about Kamala's skin. There are millions of Americans that unironically think that stopping Trump is the most important thing in the world... but also think, "Wait a minute! If Biden can't finish his term, that Black woman gets to be president!" 🤔So I guess stopping Trump is only the second most important thing in the world.
@WhenImTryingToHide @DemocracyMattersALot
So here is a hot take for you. Biden is old, you are right. But the U.S. has taken in old before. Woodrow Wilson suffered from a stroke, Reagan has been reported to have been suffering from Alzheimer's during his second term. Yet, America survived, democracy survived. "Old" is nothing new to the U.S., we've dealt with it before, and we turned out okay.
The U.S. has never elected a convicted criminal and serial liar. That convince you you dunce?
@manvsxerox @DemocracyMattersALot totally agree. Biden’s age isn’t an issue for me personally, after all, we have Kamala and a lot of experienced and talented patriots around him, but, my concern is more about the people who don’t follow politics as closely, who reduce Biden to ‘and old man’
I hope those people realize the risk of Trump and decide to go vote accordingly.
@WhenImTryingToHide @DemocracyMattersALot Are you stating that Trump is unable to win, or that he must not be allowed to win?
Because people said the former a LOT in 2016.
Before he managed to stack the Supreme Court and get away with insurrection.
@alexglow @DemocracyMattersALot he must not be allowed to win. He must be beaten at the ballot box by a huge margin. For the sake of the future of the US, and in my mind, the world.
I think if he loses by anything other than a huge margin, the GOP, MAGA, will create chaos and try to steal power.
The problem is that all that is true about Trump and Biden is probably going to lose anyway because too many people think he's past his use-by date.
That's part of Democracy. On January 20th while Trump is being sworn in you can walk around DC with a sign that says "BIDEN ISN'T THAT OLD" but it won't matter at all.
@DemocracyMattersALot
Take a good look at this #poll:
T**** was at 49% BEFORE the #Debate. #Biden lost support, but T**** made NO gain. Biden's vote ISN'T GOING TO T****, they're moving into the "UNDECIDED" column. And come election day, does *anyone* think they'll suddenly go for #TheOrangeMenace? Hell no.
Hang in there, folks. Stop freaking out.
#StillRidenWithBiden
I agree, but that is not what the world saw or will remember fellow citizen Democracy Matters
.
We witnessed a compassionate soul who had accomplished more than most any would hope, suffered more than many could withstand, but whose age had finally begun to consume him.
His core supporters, like me, will never abandon him.
But too many of those who were undecided have already decided not to vote, or vote for Trump.
And Trump and his henchmen and media outlets are going to keep replaying the many heartbreaking debate moments, and will win unless President Biden passes his spirit to the next generation.
So that Trump becomes America's first dictator.
Defeating everything President Biden, and generations of uncounted millions of Americans, fought and died for.

It's dependent on only 6% of 'undecided voters' in only 3-4 Swing States.
Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Maybe Nevada.
Arizona and Georgia look bad for Biden.
The future of democracy is in the hands of a tiny number of frighteningly uncommitted voters.
It's a shame Democrats have refused to do something truly effective: to move to the big three. The polling averages show Trump winning them all.
Most pundits make no mention of this.
Both campaigns are spending all their money on 4-6 States, on only thousands of voters.

In fairness, Biden is 4% older. LOL.
