The company I'm working for is downsizing and I was... downsized.

I have more than a decade of experience as a developer and team lead. I've done C, C++, Python and Typescript but frankly I care more about the people and the environment than I do about the programming language.

Anywhere in the GTA or remote.

You can plan, organize and lead a team. Those are the strengths you should try to sell. You don't have to stay in software.

I didn't say you can't do software, just that you can do other things as well. Don't limit yourself. Also, if you take a different kind of job you can still contribute to open source to satisfy that aspect.
