Surgical insemination of #dogs is prohibited for ethical and safety reasons given the risks (general anaesthetic, surgical incision, implantation).
#Greyhounds are the only breed exempt from this legal protection simply because there is a racing industry that profits from them and from unethical breeding practices.

Members of that industry are sure to take part in the public consultation, so I hope you will take the time to participate and request that greyhounds be afforded the same legal protections as all other dog breeds.
