Soooo I’ve committed to posting a new project every week.

I’m still waiting for this first one to dry so here’s a teaser!

The goal for each week is to make the project, create a video showing how I made it, write up a guide for how to make it yourself & post on hackster, AND post it on Etsy incase anyone wants me to make them one. Cause you know, a girls gotta eat.

Am I overly ambitious, probably?
Is it a good idea, definitely!
Will I be able to keep it up, follow me to find out! 😅

@AlieGG In 2015 I did a '100 days of making' project, where I made and posted a new project every single day for 100 days. It really burned me out but I completed it

In 2023 I did something similar where I came up with a new project idea every day for 100 days. Coming up with ideas is surely easier right?

Here is the retrospective from the 2023 project that you might find interesting

(2015) The 100 Day Project

A series of single day projects.

A Blue Star

@funvill a project a day is INTENSE! Great job completing it.

What was your takeaway/ benefits you saw from the two challenges?

@AlieGG I go into it in detail in this post https://blog.abluestar.com/100-ideas-2023-retrospective/

I was able to quickly learn how to design projects for a laser cutter. I also got into the process of creating every single day so it became a lot easier over time.

I started both of these projects as escapism from other problems (For all the wrong reasons)

@AlieGG I'm in awe of your decision, as my own is more like "Posting a video to my YT maker channel every 3-4 weeks" & I'm very much struggling with keeping even that pace 😂
@jwcph Yeaaa it’s hard! I’ve kept up the making a project a week cadence but have had difficulty making the videos and all the other stuff every week
