Whoa. I'm glad we dodged that bullet. 🙄

@gwynnion

Because allowing the Hard Right a full veto over every aspect of policy is a small cost for keeping my privileges intact, huh??

This is not a serious man leading a serious party. This is a tank job.

@AnthonyJK @gwynnion this is from last year, it says June 2023 in the photo. It’s not recent.

@tweetsjen @gwynnion

Biden is on record as late as his presser last night as saying that he still opposes any change in the SCOTUS setup, including adding more Justice seats; his only ideal solution is the "elect more Democrats" model.

The same model that got us George Latimer and Henry Cuellar.

Pardon me if I'm not hopeful in any real action on his behalf.

@AnthonyJK @gwynnion let’s not worry about facts then, those are unimportant 🙄 if the presser from last night says the same exact thing, they should’ve used that.

@tweetsjen @gwynnion

So, the fact that Biden restated last night what he has always believed about not altering the court makes referencing what he said last year.... irrelevant??

Also, note that while the screenshot does list last year's article, the first link to the Right references an article from yesterday resetting the SCOTUS decision.

If you are defending Biden's belief in voting harder rather than directly challenging the system that produces this, please do so a bit more directly.

@AnthonyJK @gwynnion as I said, I simply pointed out that it’s prudent to note the date. Your assumptions and accusations about whatever else I meant are completely unfounded and only serve to support the idea that facts don’t matter, as long as they support your personal narrative. I’m not here for that.

@tweetsjen @AnthonyJK @gwynnion

That's the point. Every f-ing ruling of the Supreme Court has damaged US democracy further and further and just gave Trump the magic wand for his dictatorship but keeping the door open to prosecute Biden, should he opt for any radical solution.

@silkester @AnthonyJK @gwynnion just because I said was it’s from last year and it is prudent to point that out does not mean I don’t understand what’s happening.
