Nope! I doubt they did. The gallows humor is in the fact that this is from 2023.

@silkester @crystalvisits @gwynnion if you read the comments, there are people responding as such. Regardless, when you post something from the last, it is always prudent to point out it is from the past.

The post's intention was to show his historical consistency. The post clearly stated in the alt text it was a 2023 headline.

@tweetsjen @crystalvisits @gwynnion If you missed the description that's one thing, if you & others didn't look at the image properly, another, but the original post's comment wouldn't make sense if they just shared Biden's restatement yesterday of his stance, knowing he still feels exactly the same about it.
Your basically asking them to have made a totally different post.

@tweetsjen @crystalvisits @gwynnion Indeed facts do. And in order to make the point they did, they'd need to use a past statement from Biden as factual evidence. And no, everything isn't the same, not since the ruling.

The poster clearly isn't against facts or reality, nor is the post misleading.
If you think they're pointing out falsehoods you're barking up the wrong tree, but you do you.

So, please stop trying to tell me OP was not misleading. I’m not sure why you are trying to defend to a post that’s not even yours from last week, but I’m not going to continue to debate someone who’s making bad faith arguments. Stop attacking me for calling on people to do better.
