Julian Lawson@TheBreadmonkey I went for Fontaines DC instead of Idles and fear I chose poorly. But on the upside I was down in the mosh with Fat Dog tonight. And Hak Baker was awesome.
I've seen Fontaines before and think they are excellent. Difficult choice. No wrong moves. How was it?
@TheBreadmonkey they reminded me of Oasis (who I've only seen half a time - long story). Technically excellent, lots of swagger but seemed very disengaged from the audience.
Who did you see? List me, baby! I genuinely want to know. Highs and lows?
@TheBreadmonkey I'll list you like a mofo when we're back in the car. The only two disappointing sets across everything we're Fontaines (still decent) and Sleafords (lacklustre). Everything else was cracking.
I saw Sleaford Mods recentlyish in Hammersmith and really enjoyed them. But I'm just seeing their Glastonbury set - and indeed their recent shows - have been not without moments reported negatively on. Apparently played same time as Orbital and The Streets so wasn't the biggest crowd?
