I love how this is expressed, your father's turns of phrase are wonderful...

"a pathetic expression of your spiritual poverty"
"all the more pitiable"
"you presume affiliation with me"
"the very nadir of arrogance"
There is so much anger and distain, but also righteousness and purpose.

The letter does sound like it was written for t today's world. Your father sounds like someone I would like to have known.
