There was a time (say ~6 mo’s ago) that I wouldn’t think of missing my hometown #Goose show (been seeing shows at the Mann for decades!) but I took a miss on last night, and am blowing off Homdel NJ for (sorry Chop!) a bluegrass festival. Still love (for the most part) Goose music, and Cotter is great. But #Eggy #BMFS #pigeonsplayingpingpong etc have more of my mindshare now. [2/2]
@wdennis in a similar place. A year ago I was 100% sold and would travel. Now, it’s only a hometown show and the price needs to be right. Will go tomorrow for $45 and 40 min away. Still really like them, but something is off for me. Hard to put my finger on it exactly, just not as excited about them as I was a year or two ago.
@Phreba @wdennis I hear you Pete. I can’t put my finger on it either but something just doesn’t smell quite right.

@vriphish76 @Phreba @wdennis I think a big part of it is the messiness of it all.

I run Fantasy Goose and don’t even play it consistently anymore.

A let down for me is the Orebolo album. I listen to Orebolo a lot and would do anything to catch a show, but the studio album was a major let down because it is all just Goose songs.

I am excited to go to my show in LA but not even thinking about going to SD or SF.

I also think a huge miss not releasing a new album of new songs with Cotter.

@Jfrites @vriphish76 @Phreba @wdennis so you're saying you're not 100% sold on goose

@chris @vriphish76 @Phreba @wdennis damn. I gave you a crack and kicked the door in.

I am 100% sold on them for me, but I was never a guy that travels to see bands and stuff.

I will see them when they come through LA 100 times out of 100, but not sure I will travel to another Goosemas or anything yet.

I would travel to SF or SD to see Orebolo, I think the presentation is so beautiful and I want to catch a show.
