Reading the #BBC news site, you would be forgiven for thinking that it was solely in Scotland that #PostalVotes were delayed. Its covered in the Scottish section but not elsewhere.

I went looking and found this in #TheTelegraph. Apparently its throughout #BrokenBritain, not just #Scotland.

Normally I wouldn't share TheTorygraph but exceptions can be made.

Non-delivery of postal votes means some electoral results could be challenged

A perfect storm of councils not printing enough ballot papers and Royal Mail not delivering them on time could cause electoral disruption

The Telegraph
@sfscotland Our government, by which I mean the Scottish Government, has had to introduce emergency centres so that people can get their postal votes. Westminster is an absolute joke.

The emergency centres launched in Scotland after general election postal votes delay

Edinburgh Council said its facility will be open on Friday and over the weekend

The Scotsman
@fluffgar yes, I know. Our council, Highland, is one council that's had to do that.

@sfscotland If you don't want to link to a site directly, there's always archive.is - for example: https://archive.is/OjTck

I also note that the Torygraph either can't tell or don't care about the difference between the SNP and Alba (entry 8).
