Haven't seen this mentioned yet: in macOS Sequoia, you can open a context menu by pressing ⌃⏎, for the current selection. Very nice—Windows has had this for ages!

@Cykelero This is *the* Sequoia feature I have been the most exited about and … it does not work on my beta OS installation. Did you manage to make it work?
@florian Weird: on a fresh install in a VM, it works out of the box for me (just tested in Disk Utility)
@Cykelero Select some text, press Control and the Return key together and a menu opens?
@Cykelero Just tested in Disk Utility and it works! But not when composing a message in Mail or writing in Pages, where I tested before. Hopefully Apple expands support for this feature.
@florian Weird! I wonder what's different about these implementations.
The text view that I tried successfully was TextEdit.
