A friend of mine made this linear #MIG #welding set up for reproducing side impact bars for his speedway stockcar. Linear motor/controller and runners are from Temu, handset trigger modified to run from the box the motor controller is mounted in. So speed and start-stop are all set in the one small hand held box.

I am very impressed with what he's done in his garage.
