Obviously, last night wasn’t a great showing, but I’m voting for substance and his record, not a 90 minute debate.
Biden: I don’t know what you did last night but I spent 90 minutes on a stage debating guy who has the moral of an alley cat. My guess is he set a new record for the most lies told in a single debate.

Biden, still with a cough and slight hoarse voice, is a complete 180 in energy and attentiveness from last night’s debate, feeding off the crowd.
The weakness shown by stepping aside would hand the election to Trump.
Joe has done more for progressive causes than any president since Kennedy. The doomsaying is a bigger problem than one iffy debate performance. Step off the cliff and take a breath.
But if you were looking for an excuse to vote for Trump, well this is weak sauce but ok, you do you.

But he’s also stupid in some frightening ways due to his malignant narcissism. You can compliment him into doing almost anything.
His gift, if I could call it one - is his ability to doublespeak anything. It’s a rare thing but apparently attractive to a certain kind of personality. That has served him well his whole life, but it’s a hollow gift and eventually the malignancy reveals itself.
