Needed to do some yakitori.
@ihorner Are those peppers pimientos de padron?
@DerMolly Those are Japanese Shishito peppers.

@ihorner That's the first time I've seen "chili pepper shish kebab." 😅

Those aren't jalapeños or serranos, are they?

@Yuriel Not gonna lie, my first thought was "...Serrano, isn't that a ham?" 😅

(For the record, and those with the same culinary blind spot as me: I looked it up, and it's both a type of pepper and a kind of ham, seemingly unrelated to eachother?)

@Bright5park "Sierra" is a word for "mountain" or specifically a mountain range. "Serrano" literally means "of, or from, the mountain range." So imagine they were called "mountain peppers" or "mountain ham."

@Yuriel Ah, thanks for the explanation!

...but are they being kept in an open field where the mountains can roam freely and happily? 😜

@Yuriel Those are Japanese shishito peppers. 1 in 10 have a little kick to them.
@ihorner Grilled vs Fried?
@WoF All gas grilled, no tare, salt only.
@ihorner I somehow completely missed a sentence and should have asked "What do you prefer more," but based off of that answer, I can guess. :P
@ihorner did you do some hearts? Chicken hearts are surprisingly good
@inelliotshead Love chicken hearts. They’re just little nuggets of delicious meat.
