I marvel at how well Mormon doctrines fit this world when you remove the authoritarian elements and swap out who the good guys are.

For instance:

If you were Satan and you wanted to give people as little agency as possible, you’d keep them in poverty. If we wanted to restore their (our) agency, we'd all work together to take from the greedy and give people back the produce from the sweat of their brows, and take care of those who cannot work in the ways the material world values. We would use the agency we have in this democracy to right these wrongs.

This is why it takes all of us. No one person can be saved alone while their moral privilege affords them more choices than others.
