I just finished #OnceThereWas. A #YA #Book about a young girl that is trying to pick up the pieces after her father's murder. One of which is his side job of caring for mystical creatures like gryphons.

I was upset there is not more of gryphon than the cover might imply. And the early chapters were a bit meh. But things really pick up by midway. And end great. I loved Mallerin. The book really affirmed some things for me. Give it a read.
