@iamKhris [1/2] Probably the funniest part of the news is that it's actually the Environment Minister... who is *gasp* supposed to care of the *gasp* environment.

And the sad thing is that there's no straight right or wrong in this debate, depending whose side you are taking.

Alberta wouldn't be able to thrive without the oil sands, but Canada as a whole won't be able to survive with all the damage to our environment.

And sadly there's no proper way to equilibrate the wants and needs here.

Alberta's PM calls bill C-59 "draconian", the Environment Minister seems to simply convey the same rhetoric.

Trudeau's government believes that it's doing all that it can for the sake of the environment.

Greenpeace thinks it's ok, but not enough.
