The Oklahoma Supreme Court issued a strong ruling today, holding 6-2 that a religious charter school violates Oklahoma law and Constitution and the U.S. Constitution. This is, of course, yet another situation where the “win” merely maintains the status quo — which is, in part, why Drummond fought it. The alternative, an ADF win here, would have been an unbelievably extreme ruling. The fact that it has two votes is itself alarming.
