Meta is connecting Threads more deeply with the fediverse

Threads will now let people like and see replies to their Threads posts that appear on other federated social media platforms.

@vmstan Blocked here too. For an activist server access by Meta is an unacceptable risk. Now we have the issue of content being scraped to train AI on top of the other issues.

I totally agree with quaranting anything owned by Meta or Google.

and only the original poster sees it. and tagging #threads users doesn't do anything. slow but improving and the potential of total federation for all of social media is just so huge.
