"The British public will come to regret annihilating the Conservative Party" - - Daniel Hannan in The Telegraph.*

The experiment has been conducted in a former part of the UK: Ireland.

Regrets?

🀣

In fairness, we were never British - - that was an imposed identity -- even if we gave them their first conservative philosopher (Burke). We named them "Tories" (thieves) and it stuck.

No regrets.

Tories Still Don't Understand the Mess They're In

@samueljohnson

Labour will become a tory-by-stealth party.

Corbyn and the Greens need to give us a better alternative

@Captain_Jack_Sparrow @samueljohnson Well, not much of an alternative, seeing as it was Corbyn who gave us the last five years of Tories.

@TimWardCam @samueljohnson

Oh really?
I thought that was a load of stupid people voting for the #ToryBrexitDisaster - or did Corbyn make them all stupid with his magic wand, because, you know, he has all that power. πŸ™„

If you want to know whose to blame for 15years of tories, look towards the rightwing press and the bbc (and yes, even the guardian!)

@Captain_Jack_Sparrow @samueljohnson I stopped reading the Guardian when it recommended in the 2017 general election that its readers vote for a party which had "get #brexshit done" in its manifesto.

@Captain_Jack_Sparrow Coalition of anti-Tory votes yes. But that's not enough. As for Corbyn, he was always unelectable in a FPTP context. Remarkable how obdurate Corbynites refusal to accept that is. It's perfectly clear to disinterested observers outside the UK. See eg
