@joeinwynnewood I dunno. There’s been a LOT of coverage of Project 2025, and I don’t think much of it resonates with low-info, “status quo” voters (i.e. “everything will be fine for me, why should I care?"

@peterbutler @joeinwynnewood I tended to think that too — that it had to do with “low info, status quo voters” — but then I read articles like this, where delegates to the Republican convention say Trump has surrounded himself with denizens of “the deep state.” These are not low information voters, they no doubt know about Project 2025 and what it aims to do to the “deep state,” yet they think this. https://apple.news/AtbdEti0GRtKdcQPjGXmtAA

Convention delegates are the most politically engaged people in the country.

In today's MAGAfied GOP, intra-Party dynamics are pushing state Parties ever further to the batshit crazy right.
