Sooo... Windows on ARM kinda rocks?

I wanted a media device upgrade and went for a Surface Pro 11 and after many years of Windows 2-in-1s having a Windows tablet that just... turns on like a phone and goes to sleep like a phone and has 10 hours of screen-on battery like a phone is weirdly cool and slightly surreal.

I don't know that I think it makes as much sense for a working laptop or a desktop replacement, but the Surface Pro specifically it's a no-brainer.

It was actually hard to find a good Windows tablet with closer to 1000 dollar price because the choice was only between Zenbook Flip/Lenovo Yoga if you need a powerful processor (currently running one).

That was 2 years ago though, X Elite seems cool. Interested to try one when my device gets very old.

@PhDee Asus has the ROG Flow Z series, which has a top of the line mobile CPU AND a dGPU in that form factor. It's just kinda heavy and battery life is abysmal.

Unsurprisingly they have an ARM version coming up they are now aiming at artists rather than gamers.

Ah yeah I knew that thing, it's just that the most recent version of it with the 6800H is quite more pricey vs competition for no dGPU. The 5th gen one with 3050 has gone down but so did Zenbooks and Yogas.

I like the small formfactor though. Yea too bad it's as heavy as 14" devices. X Elite version of it would be amazing. Hopefully Windows on ARM will grow better.
